Add Supplies

1). Open the Comb app. 

2). Tap on the menu button. 

3). Tap on Supplies. 

Add Supplies- Scan 

1). Follow steps 1-3 in Add Supplies above. 

2). Tap the blue Scan button. 

3). Scan the product’s barcode. 

Add Supplies - Manually 

1). Follow steps 1-3  in Add Supplies above. 

3). Tap on the yellow plus button. 

4). Fill in product information.

5). Tap the Yellow Create Supply button. 

Confusing terms? Check out the definitions below. 

Category: What type of product is it? Shampoo, color, etc. After you manually enter the category initially, it will immediately appear in the drop down menu for all future entries. 

Brand: The brand name of the product you are entering. After you manually enter the brand initially, it will immediately appear in the drop down menu for all future entries. 

Barcode: A code on any product that is machine readable. Here is what you are looking for. 

SKU: “stock keeping unit”.  It is the eight digit number retailers assign to an item to keep track of their inventory. 

Current Amount: How much of the item do you currently have in stock? 

Measure per Item: This is how much measure is in one item. For example, if you measure in ounces, this would be how many ounces are in one bottle. 

Low Stock Trigger: The low stock trigger will send you an alert when your stock hits a specific threshold.

Low Stock Warning: If you enable this low stock warning, you will receive a warning when your stock of this product is low.
